New Vintage Camera

About a week ago I came downstairs to find a very, very dirty and dusty object I did not recognise sitting on the kitchen table right in front of where I usually sit. Curious, I looked a little closer and when I realised what it was I got very, very excited.

My Dad had found it while he'd been cleaning out some old boxes in the garage, and wondered, if I could get it to still work if I wanted to have it.

It took me quite a long time to clean it up to this standard, but its all in good working order. I removed the metal wrist chain and replaced it with a nice mauve Glossy Box ribbon so it can hang round my neck. I had to finally give back the 35mm film camera I have been borrowing the other day, so I was so excited to get this one - my next stop has to be the photography shop to stock up on some more film!

Has anyone else got their hands on a surprising second hand or vintage treasure recently?

  6. I actually did. I found a very vintage camera that belongs to my sister's ex-boyfriend family. He gave it to me long time ago then I saw your post, I immediately went to my room and rummage my room.
I will post about that soon in my blog. Inspired by you.

  12. @ Ricquetta - Of course I will, though, I have loads and loads of films from different cameras hanging around that I never get around to developing, so go knows when I'll have some prints to scan in!
