Introducing: Laudrée

On Saturday I had a Laudrée date with my friend Victoria in Harrods so we could have a bit of a catch up (and enjoy some incredible macrons and delicacies!)

This mint iced tea was actually incredible! I’m big on unsweetened iced teas – I usually go for peach but this one was one of the best I have ever tasted.

You always know you’re going to have a great afternoon tea if you’re served with s silver tea service and silver cutlery.

My pastry was absolutely divine.  The light pastry base had a sweet glaze and was filled with raspberry jam. The mini profiteroles around the side were filled with chantilly cream, there were more fresh raspberries inside and the cream piled on top was beautifully and delicately flavoured with rosewater.

Clockwise starting from the front: Rose, Salted Caramel, Raspberry and Chocolate. I had the Rose, which was so creamy and delicate and beautiful, and the Salted Caramel which was literally one of the most mouthwatering things I’ve ever tasted.

Have you been to a Laudrée in London, New York or Paris yet? What did you have?
