Outfit Post: Motel Rocks

After the amazing Motel Rocks & Glossybox Blogger Party to preview their Christmas collection, the wonderful Selina sent me this big furry 90's style black coat I fell totally in love with at the party.

I love how deliciously warm and soft it is, and I can't wait to snuggle up in it when I go out, as I've noticed that over the last few days the temperature has suddenly started to really drop in London, especially in the evenings and when it starts to get dark around 4pm. I think it will also look great just to throw over the evening dresses that I will do doubt be donning as the holiday season is now upon us - I can't believe that it is almost Christmas!

In other news, I'm totally in love with some of the images from their Christmas look book. They remind me of the look book images from Wildfox, who in my opinion consistently produce the very best of look book images every single season.

This is the Gabby Sequin dress (£58) which also comes in black, which I think is the perfect versatile party dress for Christmas and new year. I'm very jealous of bloggers who have got one. I think I might have to try one on the next time I'm in Topshop!

There is a colour for everyone, and they can be made to work for any number of different events and parties by adding different coats, shoes and accessories, or even just wearing your hair up or down and changing your makeup style.

Also, I think Motel have got it bang on with holiday makeup. Pale skin (none of that horrible fake tan or bronzer overload), downplayed eyes, enhanced eyebrows and a bold red lip - or at least that is what I'm going to be wearing!

Is there anything you've currently got your eye on in the Motel Christmas collection? What dresses are you planning on getting to last you through the holiday season? Remember you can get 15% off at the checkout using my code TOPBLOG15 !
