Legal Bits & Pieces: Comment Policy, Cookie Policy, Affilate Disclosure & Image Credits

My commenting policy is such that I don't have a problem with people who leave comments totally disagreeing with me, and saying that my point of view is totally stupid, indeed I encourage constructive criticism, argument and debate. We're all entitled to our own opinions. I talked extensively about this in my post on Blogging and Politics. However, if you leave offensive or downright nasty comments that cause offence, or you use language that may offend me or my readers, I will delete your comment without responding however good the rest of your argument happens to be. My comments are managed by Disqus. They are responsible for collecting and storing any data you provide when commenting on this site. You can find out more here. Through my Disqus dashboard, I have access to your email address and IP address. This data is password protected and I will never share it with a third party.

This information will not be shared with any third parties, and will only be used to contact you personally if you have requested a reply, or you are commenting to enter a contest which you have won. This data will only ever be collected with your permission, and you have the right to email me to ask what data is held on you or for your information to be deleted at any time.
