Holiday Gift Guide: For The Globetrotter

Welcome to the fourth and final instalment of this years holiday gift guides! As some of my older readers will know, each year I do them by themes, depending on what sort of person you’re buying the gifts for. This year I have already put together a gift guide for The Total Foodie, the Total Bookworm  and The Londoner in your life, and today for my final guide, we have a little something for the people in your life who are jet setters, long haul or domestic! Also, remember over at The Glossy Guide I’ve put together a round up of this years best beauty gift sets, if you are shopping for the beauty or makeup obsessed!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Heat Earphones: £35 / $42, Alterna Cavia Travel Sized Shampoo & Conditioner: $10, Paperchase Fold Up Tote Bag: £4, French Galette Biscuit Tin: £5.90, L’Occitane Marvellous Flowers Shimmering Oil: £22 / $36, Kate Spade Pouch: $78, Paperchase Luggage Belt: £8.50

The two things I think about the most when I am traveling is my beauty products, and what I will have with me for my hand luggage. On the subject of cosmetics for a while, I do not know what I would do without miniatures of my favourite shampoos, so I know little miniatures of lovely, high end brands such as Alterna will make a highly appreciated (and not too pricy!) gift or stocking filler. In this years L’Occitane Christmas Collection, Fleurs Merveilleuses they have a stunning shimmering hair and body oil; I love slathering shimmers oils on my arms and legs when I’m somewhere warm, it does wanders to enhance your tan, so a bottle of this is perfect if you know someone heading off to somewhere exotic in the New Year!

The three most important things about hand luggage when you’re traveling, is a) being able to try things, which is why I love this quirky and fun pouch to make your essentials easy to grab from kate Spade, b) being able to block out the sounds around you, which is why I think these heart Marc by Marc Jacobs earbuds are both super cute and super useful, and c) being able to carry everything. You may want to shove everything into one bag to get it past the airport scanners, but a little fold up bag like this one from Paperchase is perfect to decant everything into to carry a bit easier once you’re past security!

I hope you have enjoyed all of my holiday gift guides, and that you’ve managed to find some ideas for what to buy your friends and loved ones this holiday season – Happy Shopping!
