Introducing: Circus, London & Pink Pigeon Rum
Last night Sherin, Daniela and I were the guests of Pink Pigeon Rum to sample their London Fashion Week cocktails in a fantastic bar called Circus in Covent Garden.
I always love something for a good cause, and 10% of the sales of each ‘Pink Runway’ cocktail goes to the Ethical Fashion Forum – a cocktail with a conscience!
The bar is not the easiest to find, but if you leave Covent Garden tube station, walk up the main road and turn into Endell street you’ll find it about a minutes walk down behind a pair of plain black doors with just a menu sitting outside.
I absolutely loved Sherin’s dress – Clothing at Tesco dressed her for fashion week this season, and she’s looked fabulous every single day!
Needless to say the cocktails was absolutely fantastic – just the right balance of chilli, ginger, rum and sweet pomegranate. Pink Pigeon is slightly vanilla and grenadine flavoured – my kind of rum! As for the rest of the bars menu I also sampled a Raspberry Mule – fantastic!
Circus is a bar that also serves food (which looked fantastic by the way, I’ll have to go back to sample some!) and in the dining area there is some fantastic entertainment – first up was the male acrobat.
Next was the fire performer, who danced around the diners holding balls of fire in her hands.
Then, when she got up on stage we realised that she was an fire eater – it was absolutely incredible to watch!
Hat: Primark (current collection), Velvet Jacket: Vintage, Lace Detail Dress: Soolee London
This is that handbag I’ve been carrying around fashion week with me, I usually am not a big fan of Anne Klein designs, but this one is absolutely lovely, if not a little annoying you can not sling it over your shoulder…
I love my boots, and I’ve had so much wear out of these Carvella ones I got in the sale a few years ago – constantly being reheeled!
Has anyone else been to Circus or tried the Pink Pigeon Fashion Week cocktail? They’re available till Saturday, so I suggest you head down to try one – its for a good cause!
