In 2012 I got on a plane and moved halfway around the world to L.A. to study at the University of California, Los Angeles. It was there I really became a food writer taking inspiration from the beautiful Californian produce at my local farmers market and the unique fusion of flavours found in the cities restaurants. These are some of my favourite spots in the city, mostly concentrated in West Los Angeles.
