Bumper Christmas Gift Guide 2018
It’s that time of year again! If you, like me, have some gaping holes in your Christmas shopping list that you have no idea how to fill, over a raining afternoon fuelled by copious amounts of green tea and The Vampire Diaries on Netflix I’ve put together some of my favourite gifts you can shop online this year. As always, I’ve created guides Under £10, Under £25, Under £50 and For Him (which is also all under £50), and remember while you’re filling up your online shopping carts to check out my roundup of my favourite Christmas decorations this year, and my guide to the best advent calendars this year – only 10 more days until the countdown begins!
Liberty London Colouring Book | Ping For Gin Bell | Folding Bee Shopping Bag | Sea Salt & Crushed Mint Hand Cream | Jelly Belly Harry Potter Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans | Emma Bridgewater Tomatoes Caddy Tin | Gin Made Me Do It Cocktails Book | Oversized Pink Tassel Keyring | Penguin Hot Chocolate Marshmallow Mug Set | Klimt 23ct Gold Salted Caramel & Hazelnut Chocolate Bar
Either if you’re looking for fun stocking fillers, little gifts for new friends or something a little more luxe for the office Secret Santa, there are a few bits and pieces I’ve found this year that really made me smile. I gave Gin Made Me Do It as a birthday gift earlier in the year and the recipient got distracted at her own birthday drinks to flip through it. I’ve been lusting after these Emma Bridgewater Tomato Tins in the Fulham shop window for months – I did not realise some of the pieces where so affordable, and the same with this pretty chocolate bar *actually* decorated with 23ct edible gold leaf. And this little bag of Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans? They’re made by Jelly Belly, and I’ve been waiting for Harry Potter sweets that actually taste good since childhood.
Busy Bee Floral 2019 Diary | Prestat Maple Caramel Milk Chocolate Mini Truffles | Rococo Rose & Violet Chocolate Creams | Liberty London Beauty Cracker with Hourglass Lipgloss & Essie Nail Polish | How Millenial Are You? Game | Grown Your Own Cactus Kit | Joules Grey Dog Slippers | Dog Lovers Jigsaw Puzzle | Schnauzer Salt & Pepper Shakers
I like to call this the best friend category, and somehow this year it has become unintentionally dog obsessed with these cosy looking Joules Grey Dog Slippers, this Dog Lovers Jigsaw Puzzle and these Schnauzer Salt & Pepper Shakers. Also worth noting is this pretty floral diary – my current kitchen notebook where I scribble down all my recipes as I develop them is by Busy Bee, and I love all the little pockets and sections!
Edie Parker Phone Case | Rose Gold World Scratch Map | Cath Kidston Alpacas Brushed Flannel Pyjama Bottoms | Raspberry & Rose Macaron Making Kit | Hammered Copper Salad Servers | Heavy Brushed Stripe Giant Scarf | Liberty London Print S’well Bottle | The White Company Winter Evenings Hamper | Wild Cactus Laptop Case
These are the gifts I buy for the people I love, for the people who appear at the top of my Christmas list every single year, and that I sometimes figure out special presents for months in advance. Obviously I love everything because I’ve included them in my guide, but there are three gifts here I want to draw your attention to: my friends have one of these great scratch off maps to mark the places they’ve visited together in their hallway, and I think this rose gold one is just beautiful. Earlier in the year S’well gifted me one of their amazing water bottles that keep water ice cold for hours even in direct sunlight (or warm drinks hot, mulled wine on the go anyone?) earlier in the year, and now I’m obsessed. And they make them in Liberty Print. Finally, I am so obsessed with The White Company’s ‘Winter’ scent: this Winter Evenings gift set is – I think – the best way to gift it.
Ski Survival Kit | Fair Isle Wool & Cotton Socks | Mojito Lip Balm | Apple Sauce & Pork Crackling Gift Set | Bicycle Wine Holder | Crocodile Letter Opener | Beer Making Kit | Amazon TV Fire Stick | Sipsmith Gin Truffles | Money 47 Gin
Isn’t it always a lot harder to buy gifts for boys? If I can’t find something unique and fun like this Bicycle Wine Holder I tend to buy gifts that fall into three categories: luxury upgrades on everyday guy gifts (Fair Isle Wool & Cotton Socks, Sipsmith Gin Truffles), something that plays into their hobbies (Beer Making Kit, Ski Survival Kit) or something that I genuinely use and love every day that I know they’ll get a lot from (Amazon TV Fire Stick).
